History of Milwaukee Baptist Church

In 1976 Brother Gabe Varga from Central Baptist Church had a vision of starting a church on the North Side of Milwaukee, a spiritually needy area of Milwaukee. Pastor Cliff Lawton was called to Milwaukee in the Spring of 1977 to pastor Milwaukee Baptist Church. After holding services in several locations including a North Side Goodwill building, the church now resides at its present location at 12628 W. Stark St. This address has been home to our church family since Mother's Day 1987.
